FDCC Bahamas Guide

The Frequent Digital Cruising Card (FDCC) is designed for boaters who return to The Bahamas often. It is not the same product as a single-trip cruising permit—compare costs and convenience before you check out.

What is FDCC?

FDCC is an annual digital option aimed at frequent visitors. It changes how you plan entries compared with purchasing standard cruising permits trip by trip.

FDCC anchorage (Reg. 91B(2))

The 2026 amendment sets anchorage amounts for foreign pleasure vessels entering on an FDCC by vessel length and states they are valid for two years. USD figures and length bands are on our permit cost page; use the calculator to combine with temporary permit selections.

Who FDCC fits

  • Repeat cruisers with multiple qualifying trips
  • Boaters who want streamlined digital handling
  • Owners comparing annual cost vs stacked single-trip fees

Standard cruising permit

  • Often best for occasional voyages
  • Pay-as-you-go for each qualifying entry pattern
  • Works well when you rarely return within the same season

When FDCC makes sense

  • 1 trip / year: Often start with a standard permit unless you already know next year’s plan.
  • 2 trips / year: Run the calculator and compare to annual FDCC pricing before you start the Less Stress Process.
  • 3+ trips / year: FDCC frequently deserves a serious look—confirm in checkout.
